Tipton County Opiate Epidemic and Addiction Town Hall | July 26

On July 26^th please plan to attend this town hall meeting and presentation on addiction. The Drug Free Tipton Coalition, Lakeside Behavioral Health Hospital, and The Tipton County Sheriff’s Office want to help residents understand what we are facing in our community. The Sheriff and the District Attorney will discuss drug trends and the law enforcement side of the issue. Dr. Jeff Hamsley L.P.C., who is a Master Addictions Counselor with the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, will educate us on the disease of addiction. Ben Dickey, who was a resident of Tipton County, will share his personal story of recovery and also talk about treatment options for anyone who may need it.
